parentage – Natural hybrid, one parent probably Nymphaea ‘Atropurpurea’

Fairly free flowering.

Petal color: Very deep red.
Flower shape: Cuplike.
Flower size: 12 – 13 cm.
Fragrance: Slight.
Number of petals: 27 – 28.
– leaves –
Color: New leaves purple, in a few weeks turning olive green.
Leaf spread: 150 cm.
– comments –
Nymphaea ‘Red Paradise’ has beautiful color and is a moderately bloomer. First and second-day flowers are held about 15 – 20 cm above the water.
